Title: The Prisoner's Remorse
Author: [info]miss_morland
Pairings: Remus/Sirius, Dumbledore/Grindelwald
Rating: PG-13
Warnings (highlight to view): Angst, mind-fuck.
Wordcount: ~ 14 000 words
Summary: After Sirius Black's betrayal, Professor Dumbledore finds work for Remus Lupin as a prison guard in Nurmengard, where there are quite a few things to be learned.
Author's Notes: Written for the [info]ownficfest, although I'd had the idea for quite a long time before that -- originally posted here. Many thanks to [info]aurora_knight for carefully beta-reading the whole thing!

"It is a steady job, Remus. You will be handsomely paid for a year -- if you are careful with the money, it will sustain you for quite a bit of time after your tenure. There is nobody there who knows you, nobody to remind you of the past. Think of it as a chance to get away for a time, to clear your mind."

Catwalk cattiness has claimed a victim!

Australian supermodel/sometimes actress Gemma Ward is quitting the modeling business amidst criticism about her weight, the model's agency told the Daily Telegraph.

The 22-year-old beauty has been the subject of Internet taunts after being spotted with a fuller figure last week, the paper reports.

Photos of the more voluptuous model surfaced online, and comments poking fun about her piling on the pounds reportedly followed. (In related news, we've taken away Karl Lagerfeld's laptop.)

Ward has been the subject of fierce scrutiny about her weight since she took a break from modeling early last year in the wake of rumored boyfriend Heath Ledger's death in January 2008, according to the paper,

Clearly, the attacks have taken their toll.

"Gemma hasn't committed to returning to modeling any time soon," a spokeswoman for her agency, Vivien's Model Management, told the paper.

Ward's weight gain made headlines this past January when she hit an Australian beach in a bathing suit that showcased her new curves.

"I was really surprised when I saw her, considering what she used to look like," a source told the Sunday Telegraph at the time. "I had to do a double-take after I saw how much weight she had put on."

While there's no doubt that Ward has put on some weight, we think the public needs to cut her some slack -- we'd rather see bodacious than bony any day! Besides, these days, the catwalk is showcasing varying body types.

What do you think? Should Ward let the critics stop her from modeling? Leave a comment (above left)!

While Gemma Ward is blasted for being too heavy, Miranda Kerr was recently called out for being too skinny.

The Good Samaritan who found the script for "Twilight: New Moon" in a St. Louis dumpster -- and then returned it -- says the reward she got from the movie's production company is actually costing her big-time in the end.
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Casey Ray tells TMZ she's grateful Summit Entertainment coughed up two tickets to the film's L.A. premiere and after party on November 16 -- but the cost of traveling expenses is biting her in the behind.

Ray says the round-trip tickets for her and her niece cost $1,200 -- plus another bundle to pay for a hotel and whatever other expenses the duo happens to rack up.

We spoke to a rep for Summit who says Ray's complaint comes as a complete surprise. The rep said Ray had no problems with the reward package -- which also includes a walk down the red carpet and a signed copy of the script by the movie's lead actors -- when she agreed on it back in May ... and Summit hasn't heard a peep from Ray since

Two Wu-tang Clan affiliates, DJ Allah Mathematics and Streetlife, were arrested Monday night after cops found drugs on their tour bus. TMZ.com is reporting that the two were pulled over for a routine traffic stop, but when officers opened the door "the bus was filled with smoke and the odor of marijuana," according to the police report. Upon further investigation, authorities found several blunts and residue "in plain sight." Additionally 110 ecstacy pills were uncovered plus $8,615 in cash.

Mathematics, whose real name is Patrick Charles, and Streetlife, born Ronald Bean, were arrested on suspicion of drug possession with the intent to distribute alongside six other men who were busted on the bus. The bus driver however was only given a speeding ticket.

The two are best known for their work with fellow Wu members Method Man, GZA and Ghostface Killah. Mathematics produced Ghostface's 'Mighty Healthy' album, released in 2000. Streetlife was signed to Meth's record label and made his debut appearance on his 1994 album 'Tical.' He has since appeared on several songs with the rapper, they released the album 'Back to Back: Raw and Uncut,' in 2008.

An avid fan of dog walking, Sienna Miller was spotted out and about in New York City taking her pooch for a stroll today (November 10).

The “Hippie Hippie Shake” actress looked urban hip as she led her pup pal around the neighborhood, sporting a white top with dark wash jeans and black heels.

You can dislike her if you want but you can't deny she is utterly beautiful. The pictures of her hair in her face. Drooooooool.
